Login Issues

User ID not accepted

If you type your User ID and press enter, and the cursor does not move to the Password field, that means the ID was not accepted. (If the cursor moves to the Password field, then the User ID is OK.)

Reasons this could happen:

  1. Your caps lock might not be on.

  2. Your number lock might not be on.

  3. You might be in the wrong company. (The top of the login window will show you what company it is in.)

    This can happen if:
    • You select a different company, but don't have a User ID and PW for it.
    • Someone using the terminal before you selected a different company, and you do not have a user/password for it.
    • An "Enter Company Code" prompt popped up, and someone entered an invalid company code.

Someone with a user ID for ALL companies (**) as well as permissions to "Select Another Company" will need to log in and change the company to the correct one.

To change the company, go to System Maintenance > Select Another Company. At the prompt, enter the two-digit company number. If you do not know, ask management. For most properties the default hotel company is 01 but it may be anything between 01 and 99. Make sure that you enter both integers (01, 02, etc.)

Change Company of Another Terminal (available with the latest software update.)

    • A user's terminal is in the wrong company, and they are unable to log in because they do not have a user ID for that company. The company for that terminal can now be changed from another terminal that is in the correct company (by someone with access to System Maintenance.)

To change the company of another terminal, go to System Maintenance > Select Company.

    Press the question mark button.

Enter the terminal ID of the terminal that you are changing companies for. That terminal's company will be changed to the currently selected company on your terminal.

If the other terminal is currently logged in, they must log out and in again.

  4. Your workstation might be disconnected from the network. Contact your IT manager.
