Split Checks

Split an existing check into new separate checks. 

  1. Bring up the check you wish to split. Note: you cannot split a new check. It must be an existing check. You can select Done/New and then select the table again.

  2. Select Total.

  3. On the Total Screen, select Split checks.


Split Check: Select the item(s) you wish to transfer to another check then select Split Check.

 

Split Item: You can split individual items (separate guests split a specified item) by selecting Split Item and entering the number of ways to split the item.

 

X-Way Split: Select X-way Split to evenly split the entire check. Enter the number of ways to split it.

 

Seat: If seats were assigned when the check was created and the items were entered, you can select Seat then enter the seat number to transfer all items for that seat to a new check.

 

Assign Seat: If seats were assigned when the check was created and the items were entered, you can select items and then assign them to a specific seat by selecting Assign Seat.

 

A popup will ask "Create new check now?"

  • Answer Yes to create the new check(s).
  • Answer No to return to the Total screen.
