Employee Setup consists of two pages.  The first page includes address, payroll type, tax information, etc.  The second page includes deductions such as uniforms, insurance, etc.  You will need the employee's W2 and other information.

The sample below is illustrative only.  You should consult your accountant if you are not sure what to place into each field.  This guide explains each field and the type of information required.

Go to Back Office - Payroll - Employee Processing - Setup/change employee.

This is the first page of the Employee Setup screen.  Each field is explained below.  Several popup menus will display as soon as you get to some of the fields.  Each of those menus contains the Field number that brought up the menu, such as "9 Employee Pay Type".
