Cloud Hosting - Preparation

Cloud hosting will only be as reliable as your internet connection. If your internet connection is lost, you will also lose access to the hosted software.

You should consult your IT professional to determine if multiple internet providers should be used to provide redundancy.

The Execu/Tech team will walk you through the steps necessary to get your property up and running on a cloud-hosted system. This information is intended to give you an idea of what to expect as you prepare to use our cloud-hosted service.

This form can be filled out by the customer or Execu/Tech staff. Without this basic information, the cloud server can't be built.

New Customers

Preparation for new customers is pretty simple.

Our team will work with you to determine the number of users that need access to the software, the number of EMV PIN Pads (for secure PCI compliant credit card processing) you might need, and any interfaces to devices like phone systems or to a CRS.

Once we have the information we need, we will create a private server, just for you.

After the server is configured and the software installed, we'll provide you with our Cloud Application Launcher and the credentials needed to access the software. We'll work with you to ensure that everything is set up the way it should be. This means we'll help get the PMS configured, work with the credit card processing gateway to configure the EMV PIN Pads, and work with any 3rd party vendors for interfaces.

Existing Customers

Preparation for existing customers is a little more involved than with a new customer, but don't worry. We'll make sure it gets done correctly.

In addition to providing the same service we do for new customers, we'll work to ensure that things don't change too much for your guests or employees after your software is on the cloud.

Our team will work with you to determine if your current user count is appropriate and adjust it, if needed. We'll collect some details about your current users to make sure it's properly configured when we move your software to the cloud. We'll also work with existing 3rd party vendors to help provide a painless transition.

Once your private cloud server is configured, we'll take a snapshot of your current software and upload it to the server so you can prepare you employees for what to expect. This also give us time to properly configure things before you go live.
