Often, your phone vendor will know the proper procedures, which usually involve calling and letting the 911 call center know you are making test calls.
  • After a 911 call is made, and if the phone system sends it through the Call Accounting interface, you should get an email, a printed notification or both, depending on the settings.
Room Move
  • In the PMS, move the guest to a different room.
  • Verify that all functions in the "Check In" step occurred for this new room.
  • Most voice mail systems will move existing voice mail messages. Verify this as well. If the messages do not move, ask your phone vendor what should happen during a move and verify that the voice mail system did it.
  • Verify that all functions in the "Check Out" step occurred for the original room.
Check Out
